I've been a horticulturist for 30+ years. Owned my own nurseries, specializing in herbs and everlasting flowers (in Oregon). We moved to Kauai in 1989 and I went to work as the nursery manager at the Hyatt Regency Kauai, running the greeenhouses in the landscaping dept.as well as continuing to grow special fancy ti plants, bromeliads and other tropicals. Due to a severe back injury, I had to change my career, but, I'm still a plant nut, and there's always room for one more, I always say!
