Although our front yard is now lovely, we've had the weed and debris look in the back for 10 years. A tangled mess came with the house when we bought it and we have done shockingly little to improve it. That might have something to do with having 4 kids in 5 years. Now I can see my toes it's time to get busy, with some help from the forums I hope!

Sept 2002: The back garden is almost cleared and one small corner is even planted! I never dreamed the forums would be this helpful. Thanks guys!

March 2003: Although the yard is rather barren, for the first time ever I'm not embarassed by my back garden. Things are looking up.
