I am a South Carolina Native, married for 30 years. Once my daughter left home for college (she now has her masters in social work) and then moved away, I turned to gardening and playing around with nature photography to survive the empty nest. My husband will help with the hard stuff, but I actually enjoy doing most of the work. My latest love has been the Black Swallowtail butterflies. There is nothing quite like watching them grow and change from a tiny egg to a beautiful butterfly.
