I am a scientist with a Ph. D. in Botany and Molecular Biology. I have a big garden with 250 roses and a huge number of plant species from all over the world. I am a plant addict. I write a lot and publish a lot on the art and science of growing plants. I enjoy sharing my gardening experience with other gardeners through my articles and lectures.

I exhibit flowers both in the horticultural and arrangement sections. My rose have received hundreds of blue ribbons and dozens of trophies in rose shows acroos the USA. I am a horticultural judge.

I have a new website. Please be patient. Right now it has a few articles and an introduction to my electronic publication" A practical Guide to Growing Roses successfully". It also has chapter outlines just to show that it deals with all aspects of rose growing. In course of time, I will be updating the site with photos, tips and rose news.
