I'm steadily renovating a tiny 1940's cottage, just steps away from one of BC's beautiful lakes, in anticipation of our first summer there. I'm hoping I have time after all the interior projects are done to garner some good advice and ideas from the "Cottage Garden" forum.

I'm a big fan of perennials, hostas and daylilies in particular, as they do so well here on the west coast. I'm looking forward to try something new in the garden in front of our little cottage, which currently has nothing but bark mulch!
