We're a family of four - Laurie and Tim, Tim's very alive 85-year-old father and Bailey, our three-year-old black lab.
We live in a quaint little hamlet called Burrville, home of the Burrville Cider Mill, an historic landmark in Northern New York, which is next door.
Our venture into gardening beyond a vegetable garden we've always had began as an effort to reclaim an area behind the house that had become overgrown with brush.
Ten years and a lot of work later we have 16 perennial gardens over aproximately one acre of hillside with terraces made of native limestone.
We'd love to hear from anyone who's interested in gardening in more northern zones.
