We have an edible/useable landscaping theme around our house. We are always challenged to find something that will fill in a void that fits that criteria. I do have some plants like flower bulbs and gingers that I cannot eat, but love to look at and give to friends. We have a relatively small yard, but we are maximizing it's use. I live on a clay hill and preparing new planting places is always fun. I am always looking for creative ways to battle (avoid?) the unique local insect population I am blessed with.

We have a series of large raised beds incorporated in our backyard for our vegetable garden and other clay haters.
