Just acquired our little 1 1/2 acre piece of heaven. It is mostly shady and in desparate need of some TLC. (the previous owners put roses in deep shade and azaleas in full sun ***gasp***) So we've been moving plants like crazy! All the neighbors have noticed the improvements but it is so far from my vision. I tend toward those large blocks of color.... ya know if 1 hydrangea looks good then, 15 hydrangeas will look great! It's all a work in progress

Plants that would love to join their siblings and live in my yard:
hosta
allium
azalea
camilia
rhodie
daphne
mountain laurel
hydrangea
daylily
amarilla
daffodil
rain lily
lily
crinum
agapantha
bleeding heart
solomans seal
fern
lily of the valley
heuchera
ajuga
vinca minor - variegated
decorative grasses
iris
sage
calla lily
crocus
flowering quince
