Ive been growing carnivorous plants, off and on, since high school in the mid- to late 70s. Around 1996, I also developed an interest in shade plants, such as Hosta, jacks, Solomons seal, bloodroot, Tiarella, and the like.

I am a biology major who previously worked in environmental consulting. I also act and direct. That, and my work in PR, explains why I now work at The Arts Council as a Communications Director.
