we (my husband and I) enjoy working outdoors. we are trying to make our landscape low maintenance and water efficient. we were gone for a month and came home to a jungle - weeds everywhere. a lot of our rear yard is just sand and trees. eventually, there will be paths and garden "areas". I just purchased 12 Shari D. TM Oleanders and wish to use them as a barrier for wind blown weed seeds from my neighbor to the west. I need to know how far apart to plant them (in a staggering line) and whether i should try to contain the roots in some fashion as i have heard they are very invasive of water/sewer lines. i am looking forward to participation in the Garden Web features.
