About 6 years ago I moved to my house which did not have even one foundation shrub or flowerbed! Slowly, (work keeps eating up my gardening time) I have started to shape some gardens. It has become a great hobby, replacing antiques, and just like antiques one collection leads to another.

I have been visiting this website for almost for almost 6 years and each year I find more areas of interest, great help, and wonderful people willing to share advice, seeds and plants. I first got started visiting the plant exchange forum and have some wonderful perennials growing as a result of people's generosity. Last year I discovered Winter Sowing and Hellebore forum-not sure which came first but both made winter great fun!
