I restarted gardening about 5 years ago and it wasnt much fun do to poor weed control. Friends of ours (that we just met)grew a salad garden year round with the help of a small greenhouse. That inspired me to take gardening more seriously and now I have weeds under control with mulching, gardening is alot of fun now. I have a small garden 24 x 50 but it is quite productive. I grow everything in flat beds 3 to 4 ft wide and try to keep it going year round. The book solar gardening has helped me alot, I still need to better planning (and discipline)when it when it comes to planting and setting seeds. Id like to get my kids more involved,selling stuff but havent got that figured out yet.
