A long time Nova Scotian gardener here .... moved in 2010 from a house with moderately large property, and biggg gardens .... to a mini home, with just the right amount of property for this 60+ gal to play in :) In downsizing, I took into account the mature height of my hard scaping. Some of my choices include Hydrangea, Peonies, David Austin roses, Clematis, Buddleia and other behaved flowering shrubs. For my perennials, I chose low maintenance and as many drought tolerant species as I could. I have in the past, I dabbled in hybridizing Daylilies ... Over the years I started many of my perennials from seed, air layering, etc. In my move I managed to misplace some back up data ...ie line name/password/email address at the time...LOL Anyways, I'm BACKKKKKK :) :)
