Im from West Coast US (Northern California and SW Washington) before moving to Holland May 1999. Gardening isnt so different here, just learning the different product names used over here, as well as plant names. The Dutch do not use Latin names, they use their own names and it causes a bit of confusing when trying to discuss plants, etc at garden centers.

And as far as I can tell, SW Washington slugs have NOTHING on the snail problem here!
