Hi:

I'm a 35 year old wife and mother of three. I love gardening, but have only begun to really get into it this past year due to the new purchase of my home. But have very limited gardening space. I just had grass planted and I'm enjoying the greenery. I have Amarylis, a few dwarf bearded iris' which have gone almost down to none (due to some sort of tiny caterpillar homed inside some strange looking white triangular shaped caccoon, eating it and nesting around the plants), canna lily and I have about 20 more feet of gardenable area left. My gardening area is about two feed wide and 100 ft long all up against a cement fence. I have a coconut and a palm tree along that gardening space where I plan to plant my lavender plants (which have also gotten really ugly). My climate is kind of difficult believe it or not (Honolulu, HI). Due to the humid and hot climate, we are prone to many pests, which end up distroying my plants, including white flies (which I need to get rid of as well). I assume that ties up my story!
