I live on 5 acres of pasture and natural bush in the beautiful Yarra Valley.

Ours is a traditional English garden but we have an area for vegies and composting which includes chooks and worm farms.

We breed Australorps for meat and eggs and silkies for the kids. We have a bad tempered house cow named Rosie who in addition to providing us with fresh milk (when I can be bothered) also raises a couple of calves for us each year.

We also have a dog, cat and a pony for the kids.

I too am a horse enthusiast but have given up riding in order to raise my young family but plan to take it up again in the future.

My next project is to get a mini orchard established and to expand our vegie area.
