I'm 46 yrs old, have 3 children, girl 24yrs, boy 19ys & girl 16yrs. I have been married 27yrs. Oldest child just married March 1, 2003.

I love family get togethers, gardening(duh), antiques & camping. Recently lost 62lbs on Weight Watcher's and have a new lease on life.

Love the ideas and friendships in the Garden Junk forum and now I know I'm not alone. I've had to surpress my inclination to collect "junk" thinking I was a real odd ball but am now off and running. Will be building my own potting shed/garden tool storage/greenhouse combo next year and the Garden Junk section has me started collecting things I "need" for it. I'll have to learn how to use a digi camera and post pictures and make an extensive recording of the site, house, junk finds, ideas, etc to track it's progress.

I think I got my penchant for wanting old stuff from my Dad. He used to go to all kinds of sales and drag stuff home. It was such fun to see what he found and would give me. Though my mom would have a fit and evenutally made him have a sale to get rid of all of it. When I think of some of the junk and good antiques he had back than it makes me really, really sad she didn't see things his way. She made a big, big mistake!

Hope to get to post regularly and love getting new ideas from all of the "junkers".
