I haven't visited your forums yet so can't list any favorites. Always a gardener, over 40 years have transformed two \"empty slates\" to wild flower and perennial gardens, small ponds and water features, bird sanctuary and butterfly gardens, all in a standard yard size, battling the Wisconsin weather and variety of bugs and diseases and trying to stay ahead. Built small green house room on this house and have raised orchids with some successes. Husband and I retired -3 kids grown and moved away. He starting seeds under lights and propogating plants..for veg. garden, etc.
I was an artisit and English teacher- lost most of my visual fields 8 years ago, and the gardens and flowers have been the one area I can still be creative and see the beauty that results hands on! It's more difficult now to garden and not pull the plants and leave the weeds, etc. but it enables me to keep my creative spirit alive.
