Since my move to my new place I havent gardened like I have in the past...my old neighborhood knew I always planted extra of everything (even taking requests, lol) and shared everything I could out of my garden.

My favorite crops are heirloom tomatoes, melons (French variety), snap beans, peas, eggplant, chard, lettuce, onions, garlic and I tried corn but lacked space.

I also LOVE trees of any kind especially ones with interesting bark or growth habit like a Japanese Maple.

I have grown fruit trees such as peach and apple and have had grapevines and gooseberries bushes.

I have quite a lot of books on every subject pertaining to gardening and plants for the landscape.

In my new home I have many acres of land now and I want to plan my planting so that wildlife around me will have a suitable home and food supplied from whatever I plant.

I want to do enough research so that I can achieve my goals and make few mistakes.
