I live in a suburb of a large city. My view is still quite remote, overlooking a forest and lake, at least for now. I have a second story balcony, with my cieling as the balcony above us. I don't want to "hang" anything, since, at this height, I don't feel comfortable on a ladder. My balcony faces West and has sun all afternoon and evening. I'm trying to figure out if I can have container palms, or such, that won't be too heavy after watering: (Something that can stand the sun.) I would love to have a little shade made by a small tree or something.

I live in: United States

My zone is: 76135
