Just passed the 1-year anniversary of my move to the Charlotte, NC area. Gardening in woodlands and red clay is definitely different than in the Kansas farmland where I grew up. I enjoy composting and native plants, and my heirloom tomatoes are currently growing like, um, weeds? :)
