I live in central Maryland about 20 minutes from the MD/PA line. My current interest is my PA property several miles north of Gettysburg. Its a parcel of an historic property that we are working on that started as a log house. Our portion is 12+ acres with 8 a riparian woods and 4 given over to barn and yard. I am currently putting in fruiting shrubs and a production garden. I am planning a small orchard (this is apple country in PA)and have put in a butterfly/bird garden area near the house. I am also studying windbreaks. My main house in MD is waiting until the developer of the 8 acres surrounding us starts delineating property lines. Then Ill start to work on that.
