I live in an old New England style farmhouse in a small village in Maine which we purchased two years ago. I enjoy perennial gardening and have a small vegetable garden. I am also restoring some old apple trees on the property, most of which are MacIntosh. I am interested in creating a flower garden conducive to the period in which this house was built, circa 1850's. I hope to do some research on this site regarding this project.
