I garden on 19 acres in Napa Valley California. Actually, mother nature does most of the gardening as most of the property is wooded. About 5 acres have previously been "formally" gardened, the "bones" of which we are still discovering as we renovate these old gardens. We jointly suffer and (mostly) enjoy deer, wild turkey, rabbits, coyotes, and a wonderful assortment of birds and native bulbs. This spring is especially nice for the calochortus amabilis (diogenes lanterns) and dichelostemma.
