My wife and I are starting an orgainc direct market farm and one of the features are bees and bee products. I have been a beekeeper for about 6 years, I am currently working 12 hives hoping to increase to about 25 to 30. Bee keeping is a facinating hobby and you can never learn enough about these little creatures. My wife Chris is the true gardener, Organic all the way. We have about 6-4'x8' raised beds and will be putting in a total of 15 when finished. We also are planning to build a green house so we can grow all year long as well as an orchard. The bees will be playing an important part in the pollination process. I am here to learn as well as providing information on bees and beekeeping to all that wish to learn.
