I was a pretty good gardener in the Sacramento, California area and even started a website about it (www.valleygardens.com). However, I moved to Utah in 2001, along the Wasatch Front, and I've had to learn the new climate. I love taking pictures of flowering plants and trees.

I have a little garden blog I write mostly just for myself as a kind of gardening journal. But you might find some of it interesting, including some of the photos. I've been between houses for two years and am finally getting a garden of my own again in early 2012. The blog will start to become more active again now, and I'll be here on GW more often now, too.
