Hi, My name is Staci. I live in Elk County, PA with my husband of 16 years. I started gardening about 6 years ago. I live on a 50 x 100 lot and am quickly running out of room to garden. We currently dont have any children, except for our dog and 3 birds. I love to feed the wild birds, plant flowers and surf the internet. I dont have alot of money to spend on plants so I like to buy them when they are clearanced. (Usually 75% off or more) I also go to Garden Club sales, yard sales, and I share plants with my neighbor. Since I discovered this site, I have received seeds from fellow gardeners, and I am going to try to grow from seed. I dont do alot of trading, because most of the plants that I have are pretty common, and I dont have alot to trade. My favorite type of plants are perennials, but I also plant a few annuals in planters and hanging baskets. I love house plants and having fresh cut flowers in the house. (Although I cant ever seem to get the courage to cut down any flowers) I would love to have an area just for a cutting garden someday. Hopefully within the next few years, we will be done remodeling this house, so that we can sell it and buy a home with alot more gardening room.
