Hi,

I am a newbie to gardening in the Puget Sound Area. I live in the Bellevue /Redmond area.
My ultimate goal is to reduce lawn and have some native plants, roses and flowers in our yard. Our yard currently is just LAWN in poor condition and moss/weed ridden.. However it is a nice sunny/bright location, so I am hoping that my toils will come to fruit sometime.
This is my first year and I 'acquired' some lawn around the edges, and put in a few roses and dahlias.
I read this forum and I think there are lots of valuable lessons to be learnt.
Looking forward to a learning curve :)
