Update 2011: The garden and seed collecting this year took a backseat to caring for my mother-in-law. Hospice was wonderful, and kept her pain-free and independent as possible. I hope to get back into gardening in 2012. I do plant benefit sales for our library. I grow the plants from seed. Please support public libraries - funds have been cut. Where else can preschool kids get 20 books a week for free? Where else can you stay all day and use the internet if you don't have a computer? Our property is surrounded by many wooded acres which we have left as is so we have many native plants.
