I have spent most of my life in Phoenix trying very very hard to grow... well... ANYTHING! Without success!

But now I have moved back to Chicago & though I now live in an apartment downtown I am going to take advantage of every hanging planter, upside down, & railing planting technique that I can find or invent to FINALLY be able to grow something other than Aloe!!!

I want to grow plants for both my familys kitchen as well as my 21 year old cats happiness!

I live next to a highway *sigh...* so I need to deal with pollutants & surprisingly large quantities of soot but I am willing to take the time to overcome these obstacles to have a lush patio!

I have many obstacles to overcome in this Urban Environment but at least I no longer have to battle the Sun itself!

I also want to get into Hydroponics but Im not sure where to being... Its just so connected with growing pot... LOL!

I have just set up my first indoor grow room & am REALLY looking forward to growing Lettuce in the middle of WINTER! WOOT!
