Live in a unit (ground-floor condo for you Northerners) with not a blade of grass to mow!! My choice. I have lots of flowering things - impatients flowers all year round here, camelias (in winter-spring), water lilies in a small pond. The pickerel in the bog garden looks great when in flower. So do the arum lilies. Have to fight off the weeds, and the kikuyu grass from next door. Sigh!! Lots of hanging pots. Replaced a sick lemon tree with a Tahitian lime which I intend to keep in a pot. It is positively thriving. I have harvested the first fruit already. In fact I had to pull off hundreds of tiny fruit as it was over-producing - it's still a baby. My first orchids have flower spikes, and I've gone all clucky!
My garden is my sanctuary and a holy place for me - a place of satisfaction and joy, and a sense of being part of Creation in Action.

I live in: Australia

My zone is: VIC Aust
