i live in the northwest corner of louisiana near shreveport on lake bistineau. i have 2 acres and have been gardening (if you can call it that) for about 2 years. i've bought many flowers and shrubs but get my greatest joy from growing seeds the winter sowing method. i started purple coneflower, coreopsis, rose of sharon, diantus and many other from seed last summer and can't wait to see the blooms this year (2005).
