I've been in and out of jungles all my life first collecting butterflies when I was 8-16 yrs old and now photographying butterflies in their environment leaving them unharmed. I recently got interested in orchids
and this is how I found your column. I live in panama right out of the city limits and I just started collecting orchids for my garden so I doing a little experimenting with the orchids in my garden. I just got into this several months ago so I've only collected about 20 different species.
I haven't potted any yet, right now I'm just tying them in trees etc.
