Bought a house in Edmond, OK a year ago and this year we're able to start working on the yard! The backyard was 100% bermuda grass that I've been trying to carve into to make flower beds and a gardening area. The front yard looks decent for now, but I'll be working towards making one part a shade garden (and pulling up the half-hearted grass that tries to grow there) and maybe one day convert the front lawn into something more interesting than a lot of grass surrounding a tree.
