My garden consist of a little of everything. I live on the central coast of California where flowers are grown for seed.
I love being able to grow things almost year round due to our mild coastal climate. My favorites now are roses, iris, daylilys, and native wild plant varieties.

My proudest achievement: Getting a "Jack-in-the-pulpit" to grow way out of it's range. (Also Solomon's Seal)

My favorite hobby is harvesting seeds and plants.
Painting and making whacky garden art.

Little Quirks: Snipping off cuttings as I walk and starting new plants. I'm very sucessful with my green thumb abilities and have resurected many castoff plants from neighbors and acquaintances. My most treasured to date is a dwarf Japanese Maple a lady presumed was dead. Alas she now crowns my garden abode with her charm and grace.
