I live in south Arkansas and I had a 4 year plan for a perennial border garden. Last year, on a whim, I bought 14 bagged roses and then some potted roses. Forget the border (I started a rose garden). I now have 41 rose bushes, most of which are hybrid teas. I don't have any more room, but I have 3 more ordered. The border garden is looking great and the envy of the neighbors. I am a nurse with 2 grown daughters and 1 GRAND daughter. Besides gardening, I like to sew (it comes in handy and cheaper when the little one does the pageants. She loves to help me garden, I pull weeds and she pulls flowers. I love reading the forums and looking at everone's pictures. I love spring and can't stay out of the garden.
