My family and I live on California's central coast in a little old bungalow with a cottage garden in front. We have a few old garden roses, natives, heirloom and open-pollinated flowers and vegetables. I've already grown a cover crop (that raised a few eyebrows in the neighborhood!) and now I've got rich, loamy-clay soil.
