I have a little square garden in my back yard. Well, not little. I would have to say.. medium sized. Every year we grow beans, tomatoes, chives, kale, spinach, eggplants etc. and lots of flowers. In the summer the passersby just see a barren yard and then right there, in the middle of no where, a great big green blooming garden. It's really a lot of fun caring for all of the plants, and literally, enjoying the fruits of my labor!
