I have a BS in Horticulture (UW Madison 1981) and have been gardening for about 40 years. Award winning and published home cook. I work in the food service industry but do not cook professionally. Grew up in a mulit-generational family of farmers that have always "put food by" because of economics and just because it tastes better. I think we all have a lot to teach and we all have a lot to learn.
