It all started one afternoon, when my husband was on his tractor working at our back yard in Naples, FL; and he came inside the house and asked me: "do you want to see a snake?"

Now..at this point of my life, nature or wild animals, was not in my agenda; and spiders, snakes and alligators, not my favorite things to watch.

But, he was so exited, that I had to give it a try. It was a cute little snake, about 12 or 15 inches long, rusty color, did not looked harmful to me, I stayed far, about 3 feet and looked at the markings on the face and body and said to my husband.."I wonder what kind is it", he did not know.

That, my friends...changed my LIFE! Next thing, I was buying a book about snakes, and found out that the cute one was a baby water mocasin, with a deadly bite.

From there it was birds, native plants,Master Naturalist classes....you name it.

Now I enjoy my garden so much,it brings me so much hapiness, and butterflies, plants, trees, birds, snakes, spiders and alligators too.

I LOVE NATURE AND WILDLIFE!
