We built a new house in October 2003, so we're starting from scratch with our landscaping. I had a small perennial garden at the old house but I've decided to expand the sizes of the gardens here. This is my first attempt at growing clematis and rhododendron. We have hot humid summers here and the winters can be very harsh! I'm trying to find plants (other than the usual ones that you see everywhere) that will add interest but still be hardy!
