Hi - I live in Nelson which is at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. We do get frosts here but my particular garden is pretty frost-free but we get pretty low (zero) - overnight temperatures in winter - May to August. We have a good rainfall with only the odd drought in summer. I grow quite a mix of plants and trees.
Tamarillo, Feijoa, Quince, Medlar, Lemon (Lisbon and Meyer), Orange. Rhododendrons, Camellias - particularly white and perfumed, lots of varieties of Hydrangea, Roses,
Herbs, etc.
