Vegetables Rule! However, I dig all gardening. I sure like to grow a little fruit, and a garden isn't complete without some herbs and flowers. By the way, how do you fix a broken tomato? With tomato paste, of course! I love perennials, annuals, garden crafts, and cooking from the garden. Shade gardening is awesome....I'm starting one with a host of hostas, some jacob's ladder, and a really cool plant I discovered--Brunella "Jack Frost"--a beautiful varigated foliage shade plant with dainty blue flowers. My dream is a water garden, but I need someone to help me dig it.
I'm manager of a community gardening program, and it's the best job ever. (it doesn't pay well, tho) Hey, who cares....it's job satisfaction that counts...[until the bills roll in]. Any community gardening people here?
By the way...what did the stamen say to the pistil?
***I like your style!***
I also dig compost (literally, of course). I've been gardening for 20 years. My favorite veggie plant is peppers of all kinds--sweet to hot. How about you?
