Hubby & I bought 5 acres in sunny Surprise Arizona last year(2002). I am trying my hand at growing a lot of different things right now. Mostly in containers.

I have 3 garden helpers, Kyl 11, Skyler 8 & my daughter Shelby 5 going on 27.......

We have 4 dogs, 6 cats, 1 calf, 1 very old mare, 1 18yr old mare, 1 filly born 5/4/04 & 2 parakeets & a red eared slider ....

Tahoe - AKA Golden Retriever
Gracey - mutt mostly Airdale
Misty - girl puppy Retriever/Airdale mix
Trouble - boy puppy Retriever/Airdale mix

4 orpaned kitties, that I bottle feed from 11 days old. (Oh boy talk about fun!)
Paint, Snowflake, Sunshine & Blackie
And the added 2 kittens, Paris & Nicole

1 very old mare named Watusi (past away)
1 18yr old mare - named Mystery (past away)
1 filly of Mystery born 5/4/04 - Bella
1 parakeet named Perky & 1 named Jerky
1 newly added 2/3/04 calf - T-Bone

The 5 acres bring in lots of interesting wildlife... several very fat coyotes, tons of bunnies that eat everthing, (never thought I would hate bunnies), cardinals, hummingbirds and the not so nice rattlesnakes
