I live in Redondo Beach, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, and am two blocks up from the beach. I have good, sandy soil. I have sort of an English, cottage garden with lots of roses and fruit trees. I also have a substantial vegetable garden. My kitty longs to get ouside to enjoy it, and on occasion, he makes a dash to it! Butterflies, birds, and squirrels abound. It is my peace and joy.
