I have a small garden, on my balcony in fact, thought it is big as far as balconies go - about 10*5M . What extra floorspace this gives to my apartment is taken up by pots of every size (except the ones too big to get through the door), bbq and general outside living accessories. I am a bit of a sucker for the sick plants in Kmart and woolies, and use a shady part of the patio for the intensive care ward. Numerous ppl have said I am obsessed by plants - but there are worse things to be obsessed by. I have a penchant for fuschia in hanging pots as well as standard roses, plenty of lobelia and pansies and petunias on the balcony edge, and for that brief moment in spring - bulbs of every sort I can cram in the permanent occupants.
