Hi Gardenwebbers. I'm a mother of six kids, two of which have flown the nest My oldest daughter made me a g-ma of two precious grandkids. I have two daughters and two sons at home yet. I don't have any hobbies other than gardening. We had a veggie garden for about nine years. My husband makes a kick-*ss salsa. So he plants numerous peppers and tomatoes. He also has a twisted sense of humor. I never know what he's up to next. This is my first year for planting flowers and I have really enjoyed it. I have Dahlia's, petunias, marigolds, moonflowers, 4 O'clocks, and salvias. Next season I would like to plant China asters, and I'll be planting my favorites again too. Maybe you could help me with some ideas for good combinations of plants and flowers, and maybe some gardening tips. I hope I get to visit with many of you. I like lots of input. This fall I planted my bulb garden a dozen iris bulbs, a dozen daylilies, two dozen tulip and crocus bulbs. If you can think of some other great flower bulbs let me know. I am still green when it comes to flowers, don't know alot about them yet. I keep teasing my hubby about tilling up his salsa garden to plant roses, whatcha think?
