I love to garden, however the soil is so clay like that it is very difficult to cultivate. I am up in years and cannot stay out in the heat of the day here in North Carolina. Azaleas and Rhondendrons grow very easily because of the type of soil, so I have decided that I will use pots for most of my garden. My wife and I spent 5 weeks in England, 2 in Wales and I was surprised to see how much they were using pots. I have used pots for some roses, they were gorgeous. The ones I put in the ground did not do well.
