I have always loved roses. I remember the first one I bought--Chrysler Imperial. I was so suprised that I didn't kill it. Over they years I've aquired about 35 roses in my yard--my Queen Elizabeth was .75 cents on the clearance rack. I am much more sophsicated in my rose buying/gardening now and I have to really want a rose badly before buying nowawdays.

My other hobby is photography so I combine my love of roses and my love of photography so, naturally, roses are often the subjects of my shooting. The kids and husband think I'm a rose-aholic but, thankfully, they always come and see my latest photos when I ask.
