I am 28, married, and have been an avid gardener since I was in gradeschool. I am currently in the beginning stages of lanscaping the property (5 Acres) surrounding the house we built in 2003. I am currently working on the following projects:

- Mixed border (shrubs, trees, perennials, grasses, and bulbs) around the transition between the established forest and the clearing surrounding our house (this is a challange as there is over 500 feet of 'beds' ranging from 5' to 25' deep.
- Woodland plantings (rhododendrons, azaleas, bulbs, and natives) the established forest covers approximately 4 acres. Due to a severe ice storm in the winter of 2002-2003 one of the biggest problems is cleaning up all the downed trees and large limbs
- Small fruit orchard
- Formal rose garden
- Establishing a lawn
